Your Monday Evening News

Looks like I might be changing my posts around here at Scents & Subtle Sounds, so stay tuned. I had a really good weekend and got to relax a bit. I did make it to Goose Island to try the Sai-Shan-Tea, but wasn't really impressed. They really need to get Fleur back in stock! I am really looking forward to this Friday as I will be heading to South Bend, IN after work to catch Wilco play their last Midwest performance of the year. I hope everyone had a great Monday!

Hump Day Happenings

It's been another busy week for me, but I am looking forward to my weekend, which should be uneventful. The next show I will be seeing is Wilco at Coveleski Field in South Bend, IN, but that's not until July 30. Tickets are still available and if you live within reasonable driving distance, I would recommend hitting up their last Midwest show of the year.

I am back from my blogging slumber! I had a fantastic time on my Phish trip. I saw some great shows and will have a post about my trip this week. In the meantime, I am getting back in the swing of things and have begun moving into my new place! I hope that everyone's week is going well. With that, here is some news and a video to get you over the hump day known as Wednesday.

Tuesday Morning Coffee Break

Since I didn't get to my regular Monday post, I figured I would get it in this morning. I had a good weekend and played my first round of golf in almost 13 years! Last night, I tried BYFUGLIEN & Rotweizen at Goose Island and they both were excellent. It's a crappy morning here in Chicago, but have a cup of coffee, catch your breath. Phish summer tour begins this Friday!!!!

Hump Day Happenings

I am posting this much later than I normally do, but it was one hell of a day. I am definitely getting ready for the holiday weekend. I don't have much more to stay. I can't say that I am a Slipknot fan, but there is something about the song "Before I Forget" that I like. Check out a live version below.
