Thank Boosh It's Friday!

Today is a really big day! Not only are the Blackhawks having their Stanley Cup celebration (sorry Trey), the World Cup has started, and Phish starts their summer tour! I won't be at the show tonight, but I will see ten shows, so I am not that upset. Bonnaroo kicked off last night and don't forget to check out their webcast schedule. I am working on a new template for the site, so look for some changes.

Hump Day Happenings

After putting in my request for Phish summer tour tickets last night, I headed out to Piece where I enjoyed a Dark-n-Curvy Dunkelweizen and some pizza. I am really excited for the Experience Hendrix show tomorrow night at the Chicago Theatre. Here is some news and a video to help you get over the hump day known as Wednesday.

Hump Day Happenings

Finally, Dave Grohl thinks the release of the Foo Fighters Greatest Hits is a bit early in his estimation. The only reason it is being released is because of a contractual obligation with Song/BMG. It's hard to imagine that they have been around for 15 years!

Kanye West made an ass out of himself once again, by crashing Taylor Swift's party as she accepted her award for "Best Female Video", at the MTV Video Music Awards. West grabbed the mic and proclaimed that Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" was one of the best videos of all time. After West finished his tirade, he handed the microphone back to Swift who was visibly shaken. This just confirms to everyone that Kanye West is the biggest ASSHOLE in music! [via Jambase]
