It's been a while, but Rose Hill Drive has announced a new member and two shows in their home state of Colorado. I can't wait to not only hear their new material, but see them live again. After 17 months of downtime, except for one gig opening for Jane’s Addiction on New Year’s Eve 2009, Rose Hill Drive is coming out of hibernation to debut the addition of a new member, bass player Jimmy Stofer, and rehearse brand-new new material. The band will play a free show at the Sundown Saloon in Boulder on Wednesday, June 9th, and another show at the Belly Up in Aspen on Saturday, June 26th.

I had a great weekend, but it sucks that it's Monday. On Saturday, I made my first trip to Three Floyds Brewing Company in lovely Munster, IN. I tried a beer called Ham on Rye and yes, it tasted like a ham sandwich. I will add that I did enjoy the beer. I also had an incredible meal at Belly Shack on Sunday! We tried the Belly Dog, Roasted Squash, Boricua & the Korean BBQ Kogi. It sounds like a lot of food, but we didn't leave stuffed.Here is some news to kick start your Monday.
